The Dakota

'Visually and sonically, the Dakota is the most graceful reimagining of Ray Dietrich’s original concept we’ve played so far'

The Dakota was inspired by my love of the classic tones of Johnny Winter and Allen Collins (Lynyrd Skynyrd).
Envisaged as the soul of the radical mid 60's, auto inspired classics with a more ergonomic, manageable vintage Single Cut feel, it features a 3 piece body construction with a raised centre block and ‘wings’, one piece Honduran mahogany neck, bound Indian rosewood fingerboard with celluloid dots, a pair of exceptional hand wound Sunbird pickups, aged Faber wraparound bridge and hardware and premium CTS & Switchcraft components.
Available in classic Tobacco Sunburst, Aged Pelham Blue and any other custom colour you can think of.
